ocelot information

the ocelot is a extremely endangered rainforest creature it is estimated that only about 120 are left in the wild today .In captivity their is about 120 too so altogether it would equal about 240.Which is not very good.

The ocelot it is hunted because of its beautiful fur coat ,it has only just been noticed made illegal .Unlike most cats it enjoys a dip in a nearby river or stream. It is also a good climber and  it has been known to reach the canopy (and sometimes fall from it) because up their they can kill and catch birds.

HERE ARE SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP SAVE IT
  • Bye non-palmoil  products
  • Join a campanging group
  • Bye FSC paper ( paper that  doesn't destroy the rainforest )

NEWS

                                    EFFC NEWS

This is probably the first time you have ever spent any time on my new blog.for a few weeks I will be concentrating on deforestation and endangered species in the rainforest. I 'm going to post at least once a week .Effc stands for eco friendly future club we run the club at my school with a couple of my friends.

There is somebody who runs the group we call mammals ;another marine life, another plants , another birds ,another reptiles and one amphibians. When we are older we are planning to buy some land and a 6 roomed shop. There if we find any wounded animas we will help them recover and release them into the wild ,however if anybody comes to us with their pet we will help they pet recover and send that pet back home.

BY GOING ON THIS WEBSITE FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS YOU WILL LEARN HOW TO SAVE THE RAIN FOREST!
